Gazell Records, with
domestic sales and distribution support provided by MVD Entertainment Group,
will be making available on on Friday, Apr. 6, the DVD/CD Combo Pack
presentation of Randy Brecker Quintet: Live at Sweet Basil 1988.
The legendary trumpeter
and Grammy-winner Randy Brecker — Blood, Sweat & Tears and The Brecker
Bros. (plus as sideman for numerous recording artists) — was at the Sweet Basil
Jazz Club in New York City for a nine-number set in 1988.
Included in the mix (with
accompanying CD) are the likes of “Mojoe,” “Moontide,” “Hurdy Gurdy” and “Ting
Chang.”
