Paramount Home Media
announced this past week that the Nichelodeon animated series, Avatar:
The Last Airbender, will be available on June 5 as a “Complete Series”
Blu-ray collection.
All three seasons (or
“Books”) — “Water,” “Earth” and “Fire” — are included in the collection, which
comes loaded with bonus goodies that include selected episode commentaries, a
number of production featurettes, including “The Making of Avatar: From Real
Life to Animation,” “Behind the Scenes: The Voices of Avatar” and “Ask the Creators,”
interview sessions, three short films — Bending Battle, Swamp Skiin' Throwdown
and School
Time Shipping — a Comic-Con panel session and more!
Paramount Home Media also
let it be known that June 5 will be the street date for double-disc DVD and Blu-ray
editions of South Park: The Complete Twenty-First Season. All ten episodes starring Cartman, Kenny,
Stan and Kyle are featured here … bonus goodies include deleted scenes, episode
commentaries and more!
Also on the complete
series release front from Paramount Home Media are the nine-disc DVD collection
of Jericho:
The Complete Series, starring Skeet Ulrich, and the 12-disc release of
the Roy Thinnes’ sci-fi series Invaders: The Complete Series. These collections will be both be available
on June 5.
